She graduated from Stony Brook University (SUNY) with a B.A. in English Literature. Following that, she received her M.A. in TESOL Education at Fordham University under a full scholarship. She then taught English at an elementary school in New York. Afterward, she came to Korea and published three books for English Language Learners. She published New Yorker Lynda’s New York Style English, School English and Topic English). In addition, she had her own segment on JEI English TV (an educational broadcasting station).
