Design of Object Oriented Elevator Group Control System Abstract With the development of modern city, more and more skyscrapers are built in the city today, and the traffic in the skyscrapers become more complex. One elevator canâ€™t satisfy the needs of all passengers. It is indispensable to transport passengers with elevator group composed of several lifts. This kind of system, which organizes many elevators together and dispatches them in reasonable way, is elevator group control system (EGCS). Accordingly, the elevator group control method has already become the focus of research. Contraposing some disadvantages of current methods, this paper apply object-oriented method to EGCS, so the system can be more reusable and maintainable, and the quality of service is improved. Firstly, the thesis reviews the development and current status of EGCS, as well as correlative control method, and introduces advantages and disadvantages of varieties of EGCS. The thesis analyses the systematic characteristic, control method, performance evaluation index and traffic flow of EGCS, and then sets up analyzing models of traffic flow. The origination density vector and origination-destination matrix are obtained through ratiocination. The thesis simulates the traffic flow model and gets the traffic data. Then this thesis designed the object-oriented elevator group control system based on the study of object-oriented method. The thesis designed the passenger, traffic, elevator, strategy maker, call button, building, results analyze object and so on, reasonable arrangement for the relationship between the objects and improve the system's reusability and maintainability. Designed the strategy maker object by Heuristic method, each elevator makes the decision of where do go by itself, and serve the passenger. At last, the thesis built the simulation system of object-oriented elevator group control system by Objective-C programming language, did some analyze of the results. It proved that the object-oriented elevator group control system has the ability to improve the system's reusability and maintainability, and can suit to the customs transfer of their requirement.
