Description FileGuardian - the standard version of GuardianPro - offers an encrypted environment for you to store important, private or confidential data on your iPhone/iPad/iPod. Targeted at all tiers of user, FileGuardian offers file protection to both the individual and the corporate user. Whether you’re storing a list of your passwords, your credit-card data, bank details, or you’re a business that caters for presenting to clients - paired with FileGuardian's optional delayed automated file expiration for added peace-of-mind, you can now transport your data around on your device with some level of comfort. It employs multiple levels of protection, underlined by dual-level encryption from both a software level and hardware perspective (where supported). Software protection is done via AES-256, which is an internationally approved/utilised symmetric-key encryption standard used by governments and businesses worldwide. FileGuardian is intended to act much like a vault on your device - you (the owner) have the ability to add files via iTunes (a trusted source) and you can be comforted with the knowledge that should you lose your device, your data will remain safe - for obvious reasons, the sharing of your device’s PIN and your passcode/passphrase for FileGuardian would significantly compromise the potential security of your data. Unfortunately, without a security solution your data is at risk and it is even possible to programmatically extract information from an unprotected device without even knowing the PIN. Once your data has been protected within FileGuardian, you will only be able to access it within the app itself, on the specific handset - it is not possible to re-extract/forward/send-on the data and view from another device. In fact, FileGuardian specifically attempts to prevent this from being possible. What makes this app different? FileGuardian doesn’t attempt to wow you with gimmicks and pointless functionality that you’ll either never use or don’t want - it does what it says on the tin. It offers a robust sand-boxed encryption solution that can be relied upon for your sensitive data and files. It caters for the corporate user as much as the individual, and doesn’t rely on anything but itself to protect your data.
