Foov at the Ballpark is designed to engage people with cognitive and developmental disabilities in a fun workout. It is a tool for them to connect with the non-disabled community. Most people have a connection to baseball, whether they have played, coached, or watched from the stands, and this app uses that commonality as a jumping off point. Foov at the Ballpark is designed for a special population, but it is engaging for everyone and provides a framework around which any level of workout can be built. The app can be used by two people (a star and a buddy), a small group, or an entire school. Adults and kids with Down syndrome, Autism, Rett syndrome, and Fragile X have all tried the app and moved with a level of intensity that they rarely experience. They had fun, enjoyed success, and actively imagined being at a baseball game. Visit our website foovfitness.com/how-to/foov-at-the-ballpark-workout/ for detailed information about working out with Foov at the Ballpark. Connect with our community on Facebook at facebook.com/foovfitness and follow us on Twitter @foovfitness. Please note that this app only works on iPad 2 and up.
