HanziGlyph is a learning dictionary which help you master the structures and stroke orders of chinese characters. It is a good utiltiy to learn the traditional writing of chinese charaters for those who only studied simplified chinses characters at school in China mainland. Characters made up of multiple parts squash these parts together in order to maintain a uniform size and shape. Because of this, beginners often practise on squared graph paper, and the Chinese sometimes use the term "Square-Block Characters". Studies carried out in China have shown that literacy in the Chinese language requires a knowledge of only between three and four thousand characters.
