Description

This app was created for attendees of the IB Heads World Conference 2011 being held 13-16 October 2011 in Singapore. The app provides up-to-date program information for all sessions, plenary speaker profiles and a map showing the location of various events taking place within the conference venue. In this app, you can access: - the Conference programme - a list of presenters - a map of the conference venue at UWCSEA East - other information about the Conference and the IB - the ability to provide feedback on individual sessions The IB Heads Conference in Singapore in October 2011 promises to offer something different for participants. The title above gives a hint as to the aim of the conference: it is about making leadership an exciting journey together with fellow heads from across the globe. It is also about demonstrating that heads are continuous learners and that students can also give us clues about what great leadership might look like in the future. We hope to create a framework for a paradigm shift in IB leadership; make the conference invigorating, stimulating and challenging; develop relationships during the conference through professional learning communities (PLCs); create learning networks during and after the conference; foster action and follow-up; and ultimately improve IB leadership, and student learning and achievement in our schools. See http://headsconference.com/ for more information. For iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
