The "Listening to the Heart" app is a comprehensive guide for learning cardiac auscultation (i.e. using a stethoscope) for the medical professional, paraprofessional or student. Containing over 90 mini-lectures, with over 125 examples of actual heart sounds, defects and murmurs - along with illustrations and explanations - "Listening to the Heart" was developed by the late Dr. Daniel Mason (over a career spanning more than 50 years) to teach thousands of medical students, nurses and professionals how to use a stethoscope, and how to use it more effectively to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
