Norstedts Pocket Italian Dictionary is perfect when you need a basic vocabulary with easy-to-find translations. The dictionary contains modern general language, words and phrases, with special emphasis on the needs of travellers. It contains 32,000 headwords and phrases. If you need a more extensive Italian dictionary we would recommend Norstedts Comprehensive Italian Dictionary (111,000 words and phrases). The app works off-line, which means that you don’t need to be connected to the Internet once the app is downloaded. Ideal for travellers! As a help to non-Swedish users you will find Swedish nouns with their inflected forms in the Swedish-Italian section of the dictionary. As a complement, there is also a very useful section on phrases for different situations, like expressing your thanks or dining out. For Swedish users there are sections on Italian grammar and pronunciation, and for Italian users there are corresponding sections (in Italian) on Swedish grammar and pronunciation.
