Taking Away for Little Children is a subtraction practice numeracy game for children of 4 years of age and older. No reading ability is required to play the games and the child can choose his or her own path through the games at whatever pace they like. Starting from subtracting 1, it allows your child to practice a very large variety of subtractions, building confidence with numbers and laying the foundation for schoolwork. Learning and practice subtractions included in the game: subtraction for numbers 1 to 10; subtractions questions with negative answers; number bonds for numbers 10, 12, 20, 24, 60, 100, 360 and 1000; remainders after subtraction by multiples of 3, 5, 10 and more. Taking Away for Little Children has 58 games with a total of 2500 individual questions. Number sounds - up to 100 - spoken in english by children are included to allow a child to associate written numbers with number names. The visual menu system allows the game to be navigated without having to read, so individual games can be found simply by looking and touching.
