Volunteer Time Tracker is a system to help volunteers record and report on the time they spend working for their community organisation. It features a very simple log in/log out process that records the day, time, GPS location and type of work they are performing for their community. After logging off when the job is complete, the user can then go to the volunteertimetracker.com web site and freely download a report of how long they have spent on their activities and where on the globe they undertook each one. Even though this version of the app is customised for the 20,000 people in the WA Association of Volunteer Bush Fire Brigades (AVBFB), it is usable by anyone who wants to track their time with generic work types such as “Adminâ€, “Training†and “Travelâ€, but also allows fire fighter users to track specific work types such as “Bush Fire Response†and “Storm Responseâ€. Volunteer Time Tracker is designed to be a partnership with not-for-profit community groups and NGO’s to help them track the work done by their volunteers.
