In this module, WeirdSE explains why being strategic is important and he identifies the types of strategies that SEs can develop in order to drive deals forward within their territory and accounts. Most SEs in the industry donâ€™t formulate or execute strategies at all. They are non-strategic. Some SEs are given an opportunity competitive strategy by the Account Manager (AM). They align and execute. Even fewer SEs actually formulate and manage technical territory strategies, technical account strategies, or technical opportunity strategies.
